EBC Brakes CE series undrilled discs for enduro use are made in the UK from tough German mill rolled, heat treated stainless steel. These discs have no vent holes in the pad sweep area which improves pad and disc wear in enduro racing. The lack of vent holes prevents mud and slurry being dragged between the pad and disc which can accelerate disc wear and reduce brake effect.
The steel used in the production of these discs is made using a combination of chrome and carbon. Chrome prevents the formation of rust while the carbon allows the heat treatment which gives ductility as well as strength which helps to avoid heat cracking common with other brake discs made from conventional steels. This grade of steel is especially rolled and cast for EBC Brakes only.
For best results team these discs with EBC Brakes "TT" Series Carbon Moto-X Sport and Enduro Pads which transmit 60% less heat through the brake system.
